Huge compared to what, a soundbar? RP504C laughs at the S83
Yes, it would be crazy to buy center speakers for an entire setup. Audio dispersion is not the same as a traditional surround speaker

Now they're just a bargain brand.
I talking about price to size ratio. The 504 is 370 dollars so we do need to compare apple to apples.
I bought the Pioneer SP-C22 Andrew Jones Home Audio Center Channel Speaker center from newegg when it was 50 bucks.
4 inch woofers but wanted a something with more robust sound.
for the price range its fine unless you want the regular monoprice, pyle, polk, Micca. Maybe get lucky on Yamaha.
By the way, if your center channel laughs at you, you are watching the comedy channel.
We are talking about 49 bucks and the value of it. Kramer Crane like it.

I figure going from a 4" to a 5" driver and a much bigger cabinet (20"Wx9"Hx12"D 17lb vs.13"Wx5.5"Hx5.7"D 6lb) should help.
