77" LG C4 OLED. I went looking for this deal: https://dealquestnow.online/f/18358954-samsung-s90dd-qd-oled-bjs-1-699-97?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3AFalse%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arelevance%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse&p=177371860&comment=success#post177371860 in Southington CT and saw the 77" LG C4 right next to it for $100 less. Of course they didn't have any at that warehouse. Not sure why the web and app show the price as $1999.98. I may travel to a different location to see if they will honor the in-store price.

Do you have to be a member to search? Would join for that deal... looking at 30064 if any one has it handy.

Be cautious of the BJs tax policy. You often have to pay tax on the original Manufacturer Price so in this case $3,300 instead of the sale price.

Attached is screenshot of price in South FL. I was able to order it online for pickup tomorrow - I did not have to buy in person. Sales tax was applied for the original price rather than the sale price like people said. Even with the extra $115 in tax it is still a better deal than I have been able to find recently. Costco will do this in a week or two now that I have pulled the trigger here. =]

Edit - and care using 'free shipping' because there is an automatic $160 (10%) tip added so that might make the price look off on checkout as well. I am picking mine up but saw that when I was looking at the options.

I found it to be cheaper with the lg partners store. I paid $1675 with NY tax and it included a S70TY soundbar. After cashback ($250 cap1 shopping and 4% from Amex, I'd end up paying $1,358. Ordered past Friday and installed today.

That's crazy! Is that in certain states or all locations (I don't have a BJ locally)? That almost seems illegal unless it's a state law which would apply to all stores not just BJ.

How did you get 250 back from cap1 shopping? Link?

I saw the LG partner store deal but apparently getting support from them is terrible. It also looked like the soundbar part of the deal was gone by the time I had decided on LG. You're right though, for straight $$$$ that was the better deal.

Usually it's a low % but if you visit the lg store or any other merchants, cap1 might send you an offer with a much higher %. In my case, I got 18% back.

I think it was gone and came back cause I ordered mine late into the promotion. Total price for the TV was cheaper when bought as a bundle with the soundbar.

The warehouse near us has 1 of these left, and my coworker is looking to buy it. Does anyone know if this last one is likely a floor model? If that's the case, I told him just to go through the Partner Store instead (prior veteran like myself). I think an additional 3% off code popped up for him, so if he had it shipped from LG, his total was coming out to about $1850 w/ tax included.

It is illegal and a class action lawsuit should be filed against BJ's for tax fraud. The only way a merchant can collect the full sale price tax on an item is if the manufacturer (or some other third party) paid the difference in cash to BJ's. I went through this with a TV I bought from BJ's when they automatically added a $75 fee for their extended "free" warranty by Asurion, finding out during the process that BJ's charged full tax on the TV's MSRP and not the sale price. It is a significant difference, and no notice at all is given that BJ's is doing this. I called and complained, opened a customer service ticket, and argued with them for a month before they relented and finally refunded me the tax difference. Asurion sent me a check for the extended warranty I did not want. Ended up getting a 65" Samsung OLED S85D for $900 out the door. Samsung never paid BJ's the difference, and Asurion never discounts their fee for an extended warranty, which BJ's did by 10% and then charged me tax on the full price anyway, knowing that Asurion did not and does not reimburse a merchant for discounting their fee. I'll never buy another TV from BJ's again though. I don't like underhanded, sneaky sales tactics that are dishonest and not transparent.
