Edit: I think this is going to become a NVR, offloading recording to a NAS on my 3B. I've always wanted 24/7 access to video of the pets while we're away. Cheaper and more energy efficient than the mini PC that was going to take this task on.

Don't take this as me saying a pi is wrong or bad because sometimes it's the best option. But now there's other options too compared to when the earlier models released.
For $45 especially this is nice. but for the standard pi price closer to $100 do consider.
Darned SD!

I have 3 rpi4 formed a cluster at home and I put almost every service I need (pi-hole, uptime, ha, open-webui etc.), but still got more than half resource available. So probably will pass on this deal.
At least I have 3 that I'm actually using. Two (RPi4 4GB) as OMV servers and one (RPi4 2GB) for Pi-Hole.

I was worried that the unit would be too far to get reception directly attached to the USB port on the Pi, so I bought a USB RJ-45 extender and basically I could put the GPS as far as I need, but at the end the GPS unit was sensitive enough I didn't have to worry much, as it sits on my desk 20 feet from nearest window, and I still get solid lock with 5 satellites.
I did setup a Pi 3 with cgminer and some stick miners for low power bitcoin mining and even ran a stratum miner on a Pi 3, so those were fun too.
