This has a 35 lbs limit per bike, so that rules out most ebikes and a lot of regular box store bikes.

Woot has Swagman XC2 Hitch Mount Bike Rack , Black, 2-Inch Receiver 54% off.
It is not "the best" rack from the perspective that it has to make contact with the frame to secure the bike, but these are definately preferable for the ease of loading and unloading bikes compared to the cantilevered hitch racks.

Either much preferable to roof racks or any type of trunk mounted solution.

Great bicycle hitch carrier! We've had this version for 10+ years now. This works great for our passenger car with hitch. We place a microfiber towel under the toptube hook to protect the finish of our bikes. Solid deal OP 👍👍
