IMO, not even worth $65. Max torque is 165 ft lbs, and that's probably with their MAX batteries. You can get the Bauer at HF with better specs for $50.

But that's also tool only. If you already have Craftsman batteries and charger but not HF the game changes. You're usually not buying a 3/8 impact for high torque, but for convenience on small stuff.

It doesn't change anything. The Craftsman is still super garbage. So buy it just because you have a battery for it? I have both Bauer and Craftsman batteries, but if I only had Craftsman I would still buy the Bauer and run an adapter for it. I would probably come out about the same out of pocket, and I would have the better of the two tools. Plus, HF runs a lot of discounts and freebies with purchase to even sweeten the deal.

I already have a good 1/2" battery impact and feel no need for the Craftsman.
