We'll traveling to Asia and looking for a good/comfortable sandal for walking while protected from the rain/water. Any recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

Not sure when or where you are traveling, but many areas have heavy rains and sometimes the streets are flooding. You can go with a water proof shoe, but then your feet will be sweating from the inside. I suggest you go with a comfortable sandal that has good support and a non-slippery bottom. Avoid leather or cloth material because it takes forever to dry out in a hot and humid climate. I myself use Chaco brand sandals. They are highly adjustable and have the stability of a hiking shoe. But they are heavier than the average sandal. Whatever you choose, buy it in advance, wear it in the shower and walk around outside to make sure it works for you.
