I feel like that battery is the 1.5ah battery. So it's way under powered. The ratchet is not fuel, only the impact drill.

Some prefer the non fuel ratchets over the fuel ones.

Yeah...if I bite on a ratchet, I told myself it would be brushless/fuel

If you're signed up for their credit card check your email for a coupon. I had $15 off $100+ and it lowered it a bit more

What is the difference? I need to wrench on my car, a ratchet would be real nice.

The difference making the brushed ratchet preferable is its smaller size of the head compared to the FUEL/brushless ratchets (standard speed). However the high speed FUEL ratchets have the almost smaller size as that of the old brushed, but with higher speed and torque.

This is a good kit. As for the complaints about the ratchet not being Fuel. I have two of these and one brushless and a long neck brushless. Originally these had a smaller head which made it easier to get into smaller places. But the tradeoff was these broke a lot easier. I use mine every day and only broke one of them, but it was rebuilt by Milwaukee. Looked brand new. They heard the complaints about the Fuel head being too large and that is why version 2 of the Fuel ratchet has a smaller head and also why they made the long neck ratchets.

This is more than enough for anyone. If they last everyday use in a pro shop they will last in someone's home.

I agree with you about others exaggerating their complaints and aims for brushless/fuel wrench without a specific need. I have had most of my m12 and m18 lines FUEL as well. But the ratchet wrench is the only rare tool i dont think i need FUEL power since its so niche. Tightening power is just right for most of around house stuff or light duty car work. If any chance i need the power, m12 new stubby with new H.O 5.0 batt, and extender/flex head adapter is the way to go.
The m12 Fuel ratchet 1st gen is thicker/bulkier and not much stronger. 2nd gen is expensive and dont really justify enough with this brushed ratchet that can handle more than 80% of the work while still being very flexible/portable.
