Ego is definitely the lux, expensive brand and will face issues due to Trump given it's entirely a Chinese company. Ryobi is also manufactured in China, though.
Ego quality sounded higher to me so that's why I went with Ego. But it's definitely expensive Chinese crap. It's still all plastic.
Off topic, how much did your insurance cover you burning down your garage? Mine has seen better days...

That was a good deal too.
This combo comes with a 4Ah battery. The trimmer from Lowe's came with a 2.5Ah battery.
The trimmer from Lowe's has more features.
The leaf blower, tool only, sells for about $80+ used on eBay.
Again, this kit is a decent deal now. It has been even cheaper in the past and probably will be cheaper again at the end of summer.

Because he keeps balking at his self imposed tariff deadlines letting companies stock warehouses. He keeps saying he's going to cause prices to go up, pretty rational that people anticipate that he'll eventually do it.
