Is it just me, or do they keep shrinking the batteries in these?
I swear these typically used to come with 2.0ah batteries. Then 1.5ah. And now it's only 1.3ah.

The Craftsman site lists the battery as 1.5Ah. They sell this kit with a 2.0Ah battery (CMCD700D1), but it is around twice this price, if you can even find it.

Edit: But if you want real power, you could get the Untimaty 3/8" kit [walmart.com] with two 2.0Ah batteries at Walmart for only $26. That is $3 less than a week ago.

Zzzz...unless you Need the battery for the Craftsman system. $50 or less for the Skil/Denali 20v Pwrcore drill with 2Ah battery all day long on eBay new.

I've had this one a few years, and it's alright for small jobs around the house.

Unless you need something right now, I'd wait for a much better deal on a larger set or go with one of the options others have mentioned though.

Could you post a link to that deal. All I see are tool only listings for $50 and battery only listings for a little less than $50.
