If you drink 2-3 cups a day then Nespresso is an expensive way to drink coffee.
Refill kits amazon sells don't taste as good & fail a lot.

Not yet. The vertuo pods are significantly more expensive than the original capsules and nespresso has a stronghold on them. They are a fantastic cup of coffee but just know that they are pricier in my opinion.
the cheaper models have a laundry list of issues and so many people sending them back doing a warranty claim, very similar to Keurig's lower end model failure rate
even the "higher end" models are nothing to write home about
these are disposable machines even if you baby them

$599, cheapest on amazon! Is someone going to drink coffee worth $600 in their whole lifetime?
I've purchased two for $2xx on sale in the past 1-2 years. And the cost of pods versus beans adds up quick. Especially if you have 2 coffee drinkers in the house, and/or have 2 or more cups a day. 4 pods a day, $2/day, there's $730 in just a year.
