Could probably open this thing up so that it can take other 18-20v batteries with a battery adapter. Modified my old 18v Shark vacuum to take Ryobi batteries since I had so many Ryobi batteries around and they perform way better than a new nimh Shark battery that are extremely overpriced.

That's why I don't buy this. Even though starlock is superior, and I am sure there are knockoff on ali, not worth the cost and effort.

Ugh, sold the Bosch oscillating on fb marketplace that I got with the chameleon for this reason. Starloock may be superior, but sourcing reasonably priced blades is a pain. Was very tempted until I read your post, thank you

Looking at the ad, it appears this tool uses regular OT blades, not starlock

My local Lowes, won't sell it for $49. I was arguing and even told them to call manager. Amd they said they can't sell for online price, amd told me to order online. But it doesn't let you, lol. They sayin it's a glitch and the price ain't real.

Ordered, and then cancelled the order. Realized this is not brushless, and I don't need another battery system in my life.
Was hoping these were running off the Dremel/Bosch 11V batteries.
Good price though.
