10K miles is too much for these cardboard filters. If you go that long, they'll harm your engine. If you're changing it in 3-5K miles, this will be just fine.

I've seen boatloads of counterfeit/fake filters come from Amazon. I never did in the past but the last few years it's gotten worse. I personally will NEVER buy another oil filter off Amazon.

How have YOU seen "boatloads" of counterfeit filters coming from Amazon?

Also, if someone's gonna counterfeit an oil filter, there are easier ones to do so with than the FRAM with the grip on it...

Nothing wrong with these filters. They filter better than most OEM. Nothing wrong with "cardboard" end caps either. Toyota and Mazda OEM filters don't even have end caps.
