Check if any of your neighbors are moving out and get theirs. The new residents will get a new set from trash company.

Looks like I bought this back in July 2016 for $66.92. Has always been used for my kids stuffed animal bin. It has been knocked over, lid slammed, and kids climbing in and out of it hundreds of times and still has no damage.

Toter 64 gallon black garbage can with wheels and lid is $83 at my local walmart. Probably better option if you don't need it in blue with a recycle symbol

Not all companies provide bins, this clearly wouldn't make sense to buy if yours does.

Ok I know you're half joking, but what even is this logic? Cities don't automatically send out new bins to new residents.

Also why wait for them to move out? The neighbor you swipe it from can request a replacement regardless.

Just curious, my trash can is pretty beat up (at least eight years old) but I can't find anything on my trash companies website about getting a replacement. Anybody have experience with getting a replacement?

Usually you have to call. They don't make it easy for a reason.

so, its been indoors in the air conditioning with no direct sunlight, snow, or drunk neighbor's car clipping it.

Depends on the city. Some have an app that can be used to request a replacement.

call the City or County number and tell them your bins are damaged. They will come and replace a new one on the following day of your trash day. They will want you to leave it empty on the sidewalk.

Don't most towns/cities/trash companies require specific bins for service? I know if I tried to use this thing the recycling truck would never pick it up
