- Doctor of Credit indicates that transfers from several banks and brokerages may count as direct deposits. However, there no guarantees on that, ever - real direct deposits are always better because if the don't work you can complain to the bank. Setting yourself up as an employee is legit, but I don't want to think about the tax implications. Too complicated for me. I'll stick with personal accounts.
