Living in an apartment and considering flameless grilling options. Is this a good way to go? Any other tips/recs are appreciated 👍

Gets quite smokey during smoking. Steaks are perfect though

Yeah this thing is legit, we got the small one Xmas time and pretty much the only thing we cook on. Also live in a condo that recently banned gas grills.

I'm on the bottom floor of my condo and I got the fire department called on me when I first tried the smoker. YMMV! Otherwise, I use this pretty much a few times a week as a grill/air fryer.

Pardon my ignorance, but how does this differ than cooking in an air fryer? Do you get a better smokier flavor?

It burns wood pellets to smoke and things and gets hotter than your average air fryer

I am just curious. Is the condo still let you smoke food after the incident?

I see. Looks like the max temperature on this is 500 degrees where as most air fryers top out at 400 degrees. Does the extra 100 degrees make a big difference on the taste? I'm just learning more about "smokers".

More it has a heating element under the grill plate whereas most air fryers have just a top heating element so you can maybe get a little char. The smoke flavor makes everything delicious IMO, also made jerkey for the first time on this thing and it was awesome

The online features of the Pro Connect are great but man their app is frustrating.

Yeah I smoke pretty much every meat I cook on it, it isn't quite a traditional smoker, it's like a speed smoker? Never used a real one before but I have a ninja air fryer I use indoors and the smaller version of this guy is just awesome and easy cleanup too.

I got the stand and it's OK but I think using whatever flat surface you have outside is fine. I got a pack of Teflon sheets that make cleanup a breeze and a pop up rack so I have a little more real estate.

Another thing I like is the built in drip tray, I don't have a spot where grease can collect under my grill which is why I got this.

You aren't going to feed a party of 20 with this and get the grill taste but can for a family of four.
