The seller has over 100,000 feedback with 98.6% positive rating. Chances of this product being not genuine are pretty slim IMO.

It's this a jacket or sweater?

Is this a Jacket or a coat? Or a jacket coat as the title says? I'm confused. Really wanted a jacket but might just have to settle for the coat. I don't think it qualifies as a sweater though since I don't think a jacket coat sweater is a thing. But maybe I'm wrong.

I own one and like it. It's pretty form fitting and not too loose but also stretchy. Not too thick, not too thin. I bought mine from REI for $47 on sale (that includes REI gift card discount) so this is a decent price, though REI return process is probably way easier. I went ahead and purchased a different color though, so thanks op!

I have this exact one from REI, paid full MSRP $100 and don't regret it. I wear it all the time. It's light and stretchy and looks good. It's my go to comfort hoody. The Medium I bought is a bit small (I'm 5'10" and 185lb), but large would be a bit big. Could go either way. Hope that helps with sizing for others. If this is legit, I'm buying another for sure at this price.

Edit: Hoodies are out of stock except for light blue and a mottled grey. Frown

it's selling out because North Face used to be highly sought after brand by middle to upper middle class

Then fashion changed and now North Face, for most people who have money, belongs at TJ Maxx and Ross rather than Nordstrom.

Styles havent changed, quality has TANKED, prices have risen - North Face is dead - there are about 20 better options and even more if you have the cash to blow

North Face also has tiers of products and you can bet this is their lowest tier of quality

People dont know this and assume it's still a hot in fashion brand maybe because of their age or ignorance who knows, either way this moves just like Nike/Adidas move whatever slop they push out of their sweat shops

I think calling this a jacket is stretch, glorified zippered hoodie.

This is my favorite fleece. The inside fleece material feels so nice when you have just a T-shirt underneath. I don't have too many north face products anymore but this fleece really surprised me.

I have 2, one hooded and one non hooded and I wear these the most out of all my jackets and coats. I would say that it is a good fleece down to the low 50s. I travel a lot for work and always have one stuffed in my bag for those flights that decides to blast the AC to arctic level.

Some minor cons are that the sleeve is a little longer than normal. My patagonia jackets and coats have perfect sleeve length for comparison. The collar on my non hooded one does not stay straight up. Minor gripes but still my favorite fleece. When i saw this deal this morning, I bought 3 more. Great value for the comfort and warmth.
