Project Farm rated the EZARC one of the best for metal. $25 for 3 carbide blades. I believe he was testing cutting through metal.

Where is my post did you see me mention "carbide?" I said the Nitrus coating is BS on oscaillating tool blades. The return on investment is so minimal, especially on this type of blade. The main difference with the "Nitrus coating" is your blade isn't going to generate as much heat. Meanwhile, you're still going to chew up your "carbide blade" quickly if you're going through nails. If you watch the project farm videos some other people posted in thread, you'll see that a lot of them may only go through 10-12 screw. I think that's what the carbide Milwaukee did. So how much do you think getting the blade cooler is going to help? Are you going to get an extra screw or two? If so, why pay double or triple the price for that? Now there are types of blades that have greater expected longevity and heat dissipation would be more relevant. If you had the "Nitrus" coating on those, then sure, they would be fine if you could get them for the right price and probably give you a little extra performance.

This pack has 5 blades + the box, so comes out to $5 per item. Looks like it has 2 wood only blades, 2 bi-metal blades to cut through wood with nails/staples and 1 carbide blade that can cut screws. $5 is very good price for premium brand blades assuming you have use for all of them.

If you're only looking for carbide blades and have no need for other blades, then I highly recommend this Diablo 2-pack for $20. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DIABL.../315442835

The Nitrus is a carbide blade, and the several year old Project Farm video tested some much older non-carbide Milwaukee blade that isn't even available anymore. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011DGSI3K/

The "Nitrus" is a coating over the carbide that resists heat. The carbide Milwaukee blade without the Nitrus dulled out after cutting through like 12 screws. Do you really think paying double or triple for the blade to get keep it cooler is going to do much? Maybe get you through an extra screw or two at best? Big waste on money. You can buy carbide blades without garbage coating for much less. There may be a limited number of other tasks you would use a multi-tool for that would benefit from longevity due to the blade not being worked as hard, but IMO, this isn't worth the price. Plus, a lot of times the blades get replaced due to getting gunked up from other things, and cooler blade isn't going to save it from that.

The old Milwaukee blade in that video WAS NOT CARBIDE. Show me a comparison video with the blades that are in this deal, then we'll have something to talk about.

Very good deal. In for 2. $59.76 for 12 items (10 blades, 2 cases) for $4.98 each. Single comparable blades are $10+ each. I'm counting the cases also because they'll likely outlive the blades. Repped thx OP I needed blades!
