Does anyone know the status of the patent dispute with Masimo and when blood oxygen would come back on new Apple Watches?

What is your use case for blood oxygen sensing?

I'd love get the 10 series but I think cellular is a must for these, even if you don't use it all the time.

May I ask the reason for that?

I've never used the cellular service, and I'm not the person who said that.. but in my experience wifi calling can be very flaky sometimes. It can take a while to connect and sometimes it'll just fail to connect and leave you hanging. Or it'll time out in a weird way where the call ends up connecting but not actually connecting to the watch? Very frustrating.

Also the cellular version means you can go for a jog or go to the gym with the watch and not need the phone. You can use bluetooth headphones with the watch to quietly take phone calls or listen to music. It's basically a tiny standalone iphone at that point.

You can go with out the phone for runs for sure, and these have like 32 gb or 16 gb of storage plenty of space for music, but yeah you can't stream to it.

I want to chime in here because cellular watches are the Best Thing Ever. You can stream music for sure! I do it with Spotify for example also apple music supports it.
