Isn't there a "technique" to removing the phone? Palms facing the phone, use thumb to pull left side of phone off magnet, phone should be loose. (Obviously, you don't let it drop.)

That's my brief experience with magsafe.

Yes, with magsafe, you pull the phone from side to side first to get it loose. Never pull directly.

I second this. I bought one of these about 6 months ago and it's already broken. I superglued it together a couple days ago but I have a feeling it's going to fall apart again. Would recommend buying a different brand.

One bit of advice...test fit and watch closely as you choose your spot to clamp down. They have these little plastic arms to stabilize when clamped... Since they stick out from the main body a bit, it may contact something like a dashboard surface and scratch, or puncture or otherwise damage (particularly angled vents or in tight spaces).
