Avoid this. Turn on the native Windows Defender on your computer, and don't bother with this malware. Malware?! Yeah. It will feed you popups that can't be turned off, on the daily, trying to upsell you their higher tier products, backup services, ID theft insurance etc.

I was loyal to Symantec/Norton for two decades and uninstalled it 6 months ago. Norton couldn't PAY me to go back to their "security" products, or any other product.

Never say never, but... never again.

Yep, follow the link missellie gave you and click on "Stop your subscription from automatically renewing" - be careful clicking on the appropriate buttons as I recall Norton will highlight the "wait don't turn off auto renew" in yellow to catch your eye which can result in you accidentally clicking on the wrong thing if you're rushing through it ... kind of spooky to have to insert your credit card info I know but Norton will still work even after you turn off auto renew and definitely, definitely remove that credit card info from your account the moment you turn off auto renew (can also be done online through your norton account) there are horror stories about Norton billing your credit card for a hundred dollars or more once the subscription ends - but if they don't have your credit card on file they can't do that Smilie

Re the other comment (I'm sure others will follow Smilie

) as to why Norton is awful.. it's true that Norton will nag you constantly with " Hey this terrible thing could happen to your computer , better buy this Norton product to protect yourself" ... sadly even after "turning off" the ad type thing in settings it will still pop up I've learned to just click out of it (feel free to laugh at the "don't show me this again" option because they will show it to you again anyways, over and over ) .. there are some strong arguments out there for just using Windows Defender (Microsoft's free antivirus/security software that comes automatically installed on Windows) ... personally, especially at this price, I think Norton is worth the grief for say an extremely inexperienced computer user visiting your house who logs into your computer and ends up unintentionally installing malware - I've found Norton is pretty good at catching this, not bullet proof but an added layer of protection.

So I just have privacy dot com. I use virtual credit cards and can control it though the site. So I can give them a visa and then go to privacy and change it to a one time thing, they can try and auto-renew but it wont. I do this on all my subscriptions now. I used to worry about not getting credit card points but paying for monthly fees that I forget offsets the points by a mile. I think other card companies might have a similar set up so you might be able to check though them. Not trying to shill for anyone. lol

Use PayPal. After that, stop the subscription on PayPal!

It isn't difficult at all to turn off auto renewal. Don't be so dramatic.
