Anyone know if merrel have gone back to being good? They used to be my favorites, then their quality just took a nosedive, so I haven't bought any in years, the last couple pairs I got were so uncomfortable, inspite of being the same ones id bought for years, and fell apart within 2 months, and they refused a replacement or refund, I'd hesitate at even half this price...

But if multiple people can confirm their qualities back up, I'll give them a try again! Thanks

that's not how it works, companies don't "return to former glory". Wake up.

I mean, obviously I don't trust them to have done so, or else I wouldn't be asking if they had, I'm not willing to spend anymore money till I know they've improved, but I'm definitely not gonna hold my breath while waiting lol.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, yeah I unfortunately used to wear them for daily use, I dunno if we can tell how well they'll hold up from a couple hikes (I walk between 5-8 miles a day minimum, some days more)

But I do appreciate the info on the moab, that at least they felt comfortable on a hike
