Wait and see if the Ridgid version of this set goes on sale for $200 during memorial day or father's day. I was told they both come from the same factory but with Ridgid you get LSA

Lifetime Service Agreement, it is the best warranty/service agreement in the tool business. You just have to register within 90 days

Yup, it's the best. Just come back and make sure your tools are all mark 'LSA' and then take a screenshot as proof.

This is the FIRST i'm hearing of Ridgid's Lifetime Service Agreement, and I've been checking out tool deals on SD for 5+ years now. Is this LSA new, or has it been around forever? How hard is it to exercise the warranty?

Nope, it has been around for over 10 years. Sometimes you need fight them but they are usually pretty good about coming thru if you need a replacement tool.

You have to register for LSA within 90 days of buying the tool and then come back 2 weeks later and make sure your tool is marked 'LSA' online. And then take a screenshot for your records.

It isn't technically a warranty tho. For the first 3 years you get a warranty but then after that you get LSA (if you registered)
