You can just go to the return desk and ask for price adjustment.
Public service announcement on Costco Next and Travelpro: don't buy it. They charge a premium price and claim to have a lifetime warranty but that warranty is difficult to use, they charge you $25 shipping to get it fixed and registration of the bags does nothing, you still have to provide the original receipt. Our daughter's bag had the zipper break on the first trip. It was for her wedding in Europe. Thank goodness for a second zipper so the bag would still close, otherwise would have had to buy another bag there, drag around the broken bag with the new bag, pay airline fees just to get it home so it could get repaired. And the warranty claim is a nightmare. Just buy inexpensive samsonite luggage that will likely last 10 years and then buy another one and for less than the Travelpro you get 20 years of use. Or buy a Briggs and Riley who have great customer service I am told.

FYI - these get scuff marks really easily. Some will rub off, some won't. I've taken 2 trips with my black check in one and it's already marked up.

Always silver or light colored with hard luggage

Picked these up. Technically the larger size is 62.5 linear inches but I doubt the extra half inch will get your luggage denied lol

You have 30 days to request a price adjustment. Go to the returns section and speak with a representative, they will refund the difference to your card or in cash, depending on your original payment method

Plus with the 50lb limit for coach class, these are oversized. A 25" is perfect.

10.5lb for a 62.5 linear inch bag isn't out of the norm..

I bought this a few months ago for the same price. I've only taken it in one trip but I like the large bag. It rolls easy and seems sturdy. Fully packed it will definitely push the 50 lbs limit. When I checked it in it weighed 54 lbs (my luggage scale said 51) but I was lucky and AA didn't care. The smaller carry on is a bit on the small side. I don't see it being better than a standard soft sided carry on. I see a ton of these luggage sets being sold as new on FB marketplace for half the price. Not sure if they are fakes or just overstock but I decided to go with Costco in case there are any issues.
