Or you could buy this (https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../331192549) and BOGO the free tool as a separate item.
Then you have a set that is much more likely in stock, easier to return (and exchange) if you have an issue with an item, have a large selection of tools and don't have to search around, and can be return hacked to better prices.

Those that own this tool, what do you do with it?

I own one and almost never use it. It's not particularly good at anything in particular. I tried using it to cut copper pipe, plywood, even drywall. IMO it lacks torque. I'd return it if I could

Sounds like you might not be using that tool correctly. This tool is perfect for things like precision trims, small cuts, quick cuts, and hard to reach areas. In the door and frame industry we use it quite often and it comes in super handy. Almost all my coworkers have one and I would definitely recommend it if you're in any kind of trades. Specifically on its own it's never going to take the place of any other kind of cutter( ie sawzall's, circular saws, etc) but it's very handy to have around when you need to make a quick cut and not pull out the big tools.

I run a gutter installation company and we have about 7 of these floating around between the trucks. Ther are great for aluminum work. with that said you wont have a greta time with it if you are running a 2 ah or a knockoff battery. benefits greatly from 4ah+
