If you're on the fence, only buy it if you feel like you can dedicate a good 10 hours right away. And you like open world games. The start can be very slow as you start to understand the gameplay, world, characters, etc. Once you get past that, it's AMAZING.

It is a great deal, I only bought it recently for a similar price.
I also have a backlog of 300+ games (mostly thanks to Epic Games) but I started playing RDR2 right away.
It is a heavy game, so I mostly play it over the weekend when I have more time. But it's worth every penny.
Even if you don't like open world games, the main story missions are still really fun.

The gameplay is far from stellar, but the game is so immersive that sometimes I just ride around admiring the detailed world and wildlife. I also like that it's pretty easy and forgiving. I don't have the patience I once had.
I couldn't get into the Witcher 3 either, the game was just too difficult for me to keep playing. It's been a while but I remember being constantly poor and underpowered that just riding at night was such a hassle dealing with those annoying swamp creatures.
Rdr2 is not anything like that. Put in 10 or 15 minutes to figure out the buttons and contacts and you will love this game.
I just came here to overreact at the $100 "full" price. ROFL!
