Good game, fun co op. Much improved from original release. Quality souls like and the developers actually stuck around to fix their game where many studios would quit and move on to the next game.

For anyone wondering about Friend pass:

To use the Friends Pass in Lords of the Fallen, one player must own the game while the other downloads the free Trial version, available on all platforms. (Friend pass allows that player to experience the full game with the first player)

Bought it and played for a couple of hours. Feels kind of easy for a soulslike, but it's got some interesting mechanics so far. Can see myself playing through to the end. I liked the first Lords of the Fallen for what it was, but this one already feels like a much better game.

so not sure how the friends pass would work.... key thing / seems you cannot pick up sanguinex's which is used to upgrade your flask it is the one item i haven't been able to pick up in my friends game

being able to only upgrade your flask maybe 1 time isn't that big a deal if you are the summoned person as there are plenty of healing options via thrown items (friend and I call them holy hand grenades which is an ammo resource that is fairly plentiful) and magic spells -- also option for life leech which i forgot my build randomly got it through some other means

also.. this souls like games has many bonfires/pseudo bonfires where you can restock flasks as well as the option to make your own bonfires so yea... not a big deal breaker imho

now the pvp aspect... its garbage game does not play well for pvp compared to elden ring / maybe if you go back to dark souls 1 -- not sure how they figure out matchmaking for pvp but early on my friend and I ended up fighting people with spells that made them like unkillable / its rare to see it or maybe its become essentially non-existant because now that we are closing in on the end that we have no pvp encounters at all now
