Same price from Google. I really like these, other than the battery life isn't amazing. Remember that these are almost 4 years old at this point. Google sold these for $60 with purchase of a Pixel back in 2021

I have to wonder if a lot of the complaints in this thread aren't coming from Pixel phone users.

It's very common for these ecosystem based buds to sound terrible when used with a device that isn't in the ecosystem.

Many of you probably haven't tried AirPods outside of being connected to an iPhone. They sound like crap (not that they were good to begin with).

The same applies to Galaxy Buds. When connected to a Samsung device that has Samsung's lossless codec, they sound amazing. When used with a device that doesn't have this codec, they have to fall back to using SBC or AAC (same crappy codec Apple uses) and they lose all fidelity.

Bottom line: If you don't have a device in that ecosystem, stop going for ecosystem based peripherals.

It makes as much sense as buying Honda accessories for a Toyota.

Same price from Google. I really like these, other than the battery life isn't amazing. Remember that these are almost 4 years old at this point. Google sold these for $60 with purchase of a Pixel back in 2021

I still have my pair from the purchase in 2022, really strong set of features and good quality for such a cheap price.
It's funny as this is about the same price as always, I got mine free with a pixel phone but have watched these and would pick another pair up for the right deal!

Google is telling me June 3rd to June 7th for delivery times. Amazon is next day and a little bit cheaper.

never had as many problems with a set of wireless buds (and I've tried many!) as with these. When they worked, they were just okay, somewhat thin sounding and with poor noise isolation. Comfort/secure fit during workouts left something to be desired. Initially they worked fine but after some forced firmware update, the problems started. Intermittent pairing/unpairing, sync issues btw left and right bud, and so on. Further software updates fixed it after some time just for the issue to return after the next update. In the end, they just became unusable - they would disconnect from a paired device after 5 seconds and never connect again on their own. To spare you the details, I went through every possible troubleshooting step/reset/etc, sending videos of problems to Google support, and I tried using them with windows and various Android devices, including different Google Pixel phones. Eventually, after many wasted hours over a period of several months, I chucked them, and never looked back. Amazon has plenty of buds in the $30-50 range that are several years newer than this model and beat these buds in every category.

Luckily, the batteries are really cheap to replace and iFixit gave them a pretty good repairability score, if I recall.

Idk, I see 3/10 repairability score and there is no guide at all for how to replace the earbud batteries, just the case. However I was talking about the advertised battery life. These only advertise 5 hours listening time, whereas for example the CMF buds pro 2s advertise 11 hours without ANC and 6.5 hours with. These don't stick out of your ears as much but it's a tradeoff.
