62 reviews for a frequently returned product. Smell like a shill post. Hard pass, won't collect $200.
Heads up for my MacBook friends. Description says no Mac support YMMV
Ivanky is one of thousands of fly-by-day chinese IP ripoff companies on amazon...don't trust them in general. The mis-spellings on the product page should tell you enough.

Plus, a 12-in-1 dock for $23? These things usually push $100. When it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.

Macs are notoriously bad with docks not specifically manufactured for them. Even tben The displays are a dice if they will be supported. Windows laptops should be fine.

I have. 6 year old dell laptop that happily displays dual monitor on a top tier dell dock. MacBook Pro refuses to recognizes two displays. I can't believe that's what I get for 2k - inability to support dual displays thru a high end dock.

You need a thunderbolt dock, not these generic usb-c docks to power multiple monitors properly.

Thunderbolt shares the same usb-c connection, but it is not the same.

Wait, it isn't too good to be true? So it's true?

I got it working on a Macbook Pro M3, but I only have a single 48" 4K monitor so I can't speak about dual monitors.

Display is fine and all the USB ports seem to be working fine, haven't tested the SD slots yet. The one thing that's annoying me so far is that it's not able to pass audio through the dock's HDMI and to my monitor.

The work-provided Dell TB13 I previously used didn't have this issue. I will test with one of my Windows laptops later to see if it has the same issue.

EDIT: Audio doesn't pass through HDMI on my Windows laptop either. I like everything else about it but this is annoying enough that I am tempted to return it. I don't want to wire a 3.5mm cable from the dock to my monitor just for audio.

Works. Definitely brand is questionable but it works in my application. Dual HDMI monitors and audio aux tested and works. Will test displayport later. Operating temperature is cool. Only issue noted thus far is charging laptop does not charge at max speed.

I know it says Mac not supported, but what about Mac laptops with intel CPUs? Or does it not support the OS itself?

Meaning they can't certify that it'll work.

Generally speaking, macs have thunderbolt ports not "USB-C" ports, so without that designation, not all usb-c devices will work as intended. Most will, and work just fine, but it's not guaranteed.

You're essentially missing out on the thunderbolt port speeds/throughput by not buying a thunderbolt device, but that's personal preference. Not to mention, monitors can be finicky with usb-c specific devices but BetterDisplay exists for the Mac for a reason (which I recommend).

Yeah, I know. what I don't understand is why this thunderbolt requirement exists when windows laptops could support multiple monitors for decades. Now, apple acting like they invented this and connecting multiple monitors is an expensive proposition out of reach without spending thousands on compatible devices.

You've been able to do dual monitors on apple computers for well over a decade now, without anything special. The m-chips changed that a bit and you need the m-pro chips for multi-monitor support whereas the non-pro/ultra/max chips couldn't. Now they all can.

Most usb-c docks/dongles will work just fine, i've tested way too many of them, but the company will usually say 'doesn't support" because they haven't certified them working properly, especially these cheap junk companies. Dell docks (which our company uses a lot) work 'just fine', though I hate them and sometimes they require drivers to properly connect certain monitors.

I just prefer a thunderbolt specific device as it's a lot less of a headache.

Had problems with a borrowed doc at work. Got this one to replace it and have been running great all week. Full 1920x1200 60hz on both hdmi ports (other doc only let me do 1080p). I've not tried the usbc port or pd yet but I'm quite pleased for the price so far!
