It's not. The Karcher is better. Obsessed Garage tested a bunch of these entry level pressure washers and found the manufacturer specs are bs. They never match the stated specs so you can't go by that.

The Karcher lived up to its rating more than the others and it's well built. It's the best you're going to find for a hundred bucks.

Westinghouse 2100 PSI does look slimmer and better with more GPM and comes with a foam attachment. Which one is better lol. Very similar price.

Spec wise it looks good. I wonder what it would be rated at if they both use the same size nozzles.

The Amazon reviews aren't good for the Karcher 1700. I'm swinging to the Westinghouse.

Karcher is a top quality brand. Far superior to Westinghouse IMO. Karcher is German engineered with lots of bespoke Karcher exclusive parts, not just some generic white-labelled Chinese junk. I have had Karcher machines last 15 years with no maintenance, they are quality. I ordered this machine, great deal.

Ahh I'm getting Westinghouse. Spec to spec the WH is more GPM and has better reviews. Look on Amazon and compare. Karcher hose sucks, no foam attachment, lower PSI, machine more bulky. The WH is actually cheaper at the moment.

Can someone let me know if this is better than the below Greenworks deal for $59. I got below and since 20 ft pipe is not enough so bought a 50 ft pipe for another $20. So in total $59 + $20 = $79 , with a 50 ft pipe.

I plan to use it regular house cleaning and car wash etc.

Good website to compare pressure washers: https://pressurewasherdb.com/products/
Project Farm tested PW's <$200 on 06/2024 -PF is a great YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pu6lfzM9iJ8
I'm not the PW Sensei, but understanding is that "Cleaning Units" should be used to compare PW's (not gpm).
FWIW, just replaced my SunJoe SPX3000 after 6yrs -was $50 off (paid $150 during Amazon Spring Sale,), only $15 more than last one.
Karcher hose is only 20' long -like for most electric PW's, not enough and you'll probably want to add to that. I bought another 25' for my SPX3000, and the reasonable 6yrs service of my original SPX3000 and being able to reuse the hose is why I bought another one to replace it.
Thoughts on this one ? 2.5 GPM 2030 PSI. Number one seller on Amazon and $109

Ah, the well known LWQ brand sold by the very familiar ASCST store. /s
Make sure to buy the Protection plan as there is literally no way to get it fixed.

That Greenworks is a good deal. All of these are great for washing cars but not much else.

I have Westinghouse Gas powered one I mainly use. Its is almost impossible to carry this thing up stairs without 2 people. I bought Greenworks - 1900 PSI 1.2 GPM from Bestbuy deal a while back and ended up regretting it as the pressure was no comparison to the Westinghouse. Mainly just need the electric one for one area on my screened in patio that is on 2nd floor otherwise Westinghouse Gas powered for the win for sure.

Any decently priced recommendations to replace the Greenworks ? I think I will likely be disappointed with any Electric but the ease of carrying it up a flight of stairs once a year for spring cleaning helps.

Not sure why you quoted me with your response, but I have a Sun Joe electric that I got years ago and used it regularly to power wash my patio and backyard walkways once a year and to do the house windows and screens and to wash my car. I forget the PSI but it's not high. Plenty of pressure to do what I need it for. Gas powered is more maintenance and needing gas for it is inconvenient.

If you go look at the reviews and filter by that specific item. Half of the reviews are bad, and there are only 4 instead of 120 like shown.
