Yup same here, but way beyond "mild"...more like dried out and probably a year past peak flavor. Used normal amount for a jug of iced coffee and it seems like I'm just drinking water. I'm not at all picky or a coffee snob but this stuff is trash.

I like a delicate flavor just fine - but only if the coffee is good. A light to medium roast is perfect for peaberry Kona, and you lose a lot if you bury the subtle flavor in "bold" preparation.

I bought this last time, it's not delicate, it's weak, watery, and still somehow acrid.

Lots of negative posts here, have to agree after tasting it this AM. Even tried one of the wife's kcups before ordering; it wasn't nearly as bad.

Going to try darkening the roast some. (Hey, it works with nearly-expired peanuts from Amazon 'deals'.) Normally done to beans only, but IDK why it wouldn't work with ground coffee too.

Only caveat, must prepare for smoke. May have to wait for weather to warm up a little (open all the windows on a breezy day).

Edit
Finally reached a measure that makes decent coffee from this (before re-roasting).

Use 1.5x to 2x of this coffee as for normal coffees.

Unfortunately, this raises the effective price-per-lb to $4.50 - $6+. So unless re-roasting (or taste doesn't bother you lol), this is really not a good deal.
