For those wary about the firmware and connections to possibly CCP-exposed cloud - recently demonstrated to work with thingino custom firmware.

I would spend a little extra and get the one that can use 5Ghz (if you have range). My simple 2.4Ghz doorbell camera was much more problematic than the 5Ghz I replaced it with.

Thinking of utilizing this in our storage unit. There are zero outlets---only one light bulb.

Yes, you can have it save clips to just the SD card and avoid the cloud charges too.

Pretty sure they're LED lights. Should last several years.

There's a specific firmware from the manufacturer that enables it. You're also able to load thingino which gives rtsp access as well a deeper config options.

I wondered the same thing. I've done some searching and can find nothing whatsoever to suggest that it offers RTSP. Would have made a cheap and easy addition to my UniFi Protect system. Oh, well.

You sure about that for this model? Any link to that info? I found nothing about it in my searching.

May be moot as the discount code isn't working for me.

First off, thanks for mentioning this! I had no idea this project existed. I have a Eufy laying around that I am going to flash thingino on, so that's cool (I never used because paying for a sub or other proprietary stuff kinda sucks, and inherited the cam).

Edit: upon closer inspection of the listing, this is indeed an L2, derp. Thanks again.

Do you know if thingino does alerts and stuff? Took a brief look at their website but mostly see stuff regarding streaming
