The problem with a deep fryer is the set up and clean up. I don't deep fry everyday. When I do, I don't want to always go through the hassle of setting up the deep fryer, pouring out the amount of oil that would usually last me a month, frying, waiting for the oil to cool down completely, straining the oil, storing it away, and then cleaning all of the parts of the deep fryer. It's WAY easier to just throw a bunch of wings into an air fryer and spray some oil, and then cleanup is just taking the whole air fryer basket and throwing it into the dishwasher. The small trade off on texture and taste does not outweigh the tremendous difference in cleanup needed.

Great deal. Thanks for posting, OP. I bought a similar Bella about 4 years ago on a Best Buy deal, but with the mechanical dial timer instead of the electronic controls. It was $30 as well, but this one is much nicer with more capacity.

If you're never owned an air fryer, it's an amazingly versatile appliance. I use mine daily for heating/cooking many different frozen foods with just the right amount of browning, barbecuing one or 2 entrees, and reheating leftovers. Can't imagine how I ever got by without it. I pick up the rotisserie chickens at Walmart for $6 each, cut them into halves, and freeze them. After thawing, they're delicious after 20-25 minutes in the air fryer at 225 degrees or so.

Ahhh I couldn't resist at this price; I went ahead and ordered one and I'll keep my old one as a spare. It's seen a huge amount of use in the years I've had it. $30 shipped for this one is a steal

I like air frying my KFC. You get a lot of the oil out and taste so much better.

Interesting that they relisted this: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/bell...Id=6461461

Seems like the only difference is that this one weighs less and doesn't contain PFAS. $30 was the sale price for the other one, too.

Air Fryers are good for warming things up if you don't have toaster oven. But for actually making fried food, skip the gadgetry and buy a deep fryer. You will thank me later.
Won't be thanking you when I end up in the hospital with diabetes😀. Air fryers allow you to have good tasting food with much less or no oil.

You are eating same amount of oil....unless you overcook your stuff in deep frying to the point of drying the item out and oil seeps in. 99.9% of pre-made fried foods in the frozen aisle have been flash fried already so they have same amount of residual oil on them as items that you pull out of deep fryer.

I have this same model air fryer from Bella. Works really well but I will say that I'm not a huge fan of the "touchscreen" controls. It's a little finicky when you are trying to cycle through the various functions. It's a minor annoyance for me but it wouldn't stop me from purchasing at this price.
When it comes to these basket fryer air fryers, they are hands down better than any toaster oven style air fryer. My introduction to an air fryer was the ninja foodi xl which I still have. In my opinion, the basket fryer cooks and crisps things better than the ninja xl. My kids use the air fryer every morning for bagels or toast. Pop the bagel in on air fry for 3 minutes and it comes out perfect. So for us it doubles as a toaster oven. Our actual toaster over, the ninja foodi pretty much sits next to it unused. We use the Bella to reheat food as mentioned above and also half cook items when in a hurry. I'll put things like frozen chicken tenders in the microwave for maybe 90 seconds and finish them in the air fryer to crisp them up. I'd recommend this air fryer, it works well.

I am very clumsy and have developed a phobia for hot oil. Air fryers are much safer and healthier for me. It's not the same but it's good enough for a lot of foods (though unfortunately not wet batter foods).

Thanks OP. My Mom needs an air fryer and this was perfect timing. I also had a 10$ coupon from BB, so my total was 21.XX out the door. Great deal.

This is a great deal. Had some version of the Bella 6qt which worked very well until it just randomly died one day. Warranty claim was super simple - they will either refund or give you a new unit. I think they have a 2 year warranty if my memory serves correctly, which is great for a unit like this.
