This one is 144Hz vs the 60Hz TCL. I'd say this one is much better on paper

If anyone bought the version (qd7) from Costco, can you confirm it has local dimming or is this a misprint for the highlights? Since I can't post a pic, check the highlights from the link.

According to Rtings, the QD7 is direct lit and does not have local dimming.

"The Hisense QD7N QLED is a budget model in Hisense's 2024 entry-level QLED lineup and sits above the Hisense QD6N QLED. Unlike Hisense's popular U-Series, you won't find local dimming on this model."

Yes, I've seen that, but it's why I'm asking if anyone bought it and confirm it doesn't have it. Sometimes the warehouse stores get a slightly different model.

Hmm, I've never seen a warehouse variant have a fundamental difference like local dimming vs direct lit. I'd say it's a misprint on Costco's part. Rtings also usually addresses any differences between the standard and warehouse models.

Get a 75" TCL QM7 OR Hisense 75" U7N for 899. Much better picture quality. Both have local dimming zones where the Q6 doesn't. Or 75" Q7! 75" is still a lot of TV!
