I have the 128 GB with 6 GB of ram. My best compliment is that it works. It's not the fastest device I've ever used, it's not the slowest device I've ever used, but it's functional. You get what you get for the price.

I bought this with the plan to stream my security cameras feed. It doesn't handle h265 encoding in the browser, so it's useless to me. That was a limitation I wasn't expecting given my 3 year old phone handles it fine

Went from an iPad to this and returned the Samsung to go back to the iPad . The screen is not that good and the processor is slow. An older iPad 9th gen is a better option if you're looking for a budget tablet

The 128 GB has 8 GB of RAM. At least mine does. Just checked. Does it lag occasionally? Yes, but just small hitches. Would I describe it as laggy? No.

That said, I'm on the hunt for a cheap S8+ because I discovered I really want a good note taking experience with a pen and the A9+ is not good in that regard.

Doesn't work in Plex, either, for downloaded/synced videos. Streaming H265 directly while online works.

I have the same tablet but the 64 gig variant, initially started using Firefox as my browser and that really bogged down the tablet. I then switched to brave browser and it is much smoother. You can save brave browser YouTube as a shortcut to play videos without ads
