I bought this in store for $20 a couple years ago as I needed it right away. This is my go-to bit driver set. The bits are strong and the case is good at closing and securing the bits. It has a good variety of bits also.

At $9.98 this is a no brainer!

mine says $5.99 shipping.
I got free shipping as well. Might depend on your MyLowes status.

Used $10 in rewards from buying a fridge, points were expiring in less than 2 weeks,

$9.98 price worked with $10 rewards, only paid tax and free (not-same-day) shipping.

I prefer my bit sets to be one of each (and every) type, but this looks like a great solution as a household bit set for "sharing" bits and not worrying about where they end up.

I've had this for about a year now, the bits are nice, especially the vast amount of security bits, but the case is awful. If you flip it at all, bits can pop out of the slot, so in my packout, these get jumbled up all the time. If you have a good spot to keep it level, this is very worth it... otherwise you might want to snag a different case to use.

Could you just put a small piece of foam in the case to hold them in place? My crescent set has that in there, and it seems to work well for holding the bits in place.

I dunno. I got one of these off a previous deal. I just shook mine hard all over the place and the bits did not come out of their spots, the clearance between the top of the bits and the inside of the clear cover is too small for them to move much.

That said, it also comes with a clear plastic throwaway liner to keep them from chewing up the case while it's in shipment and at the store. You could probably keep this (instead of throwing it away) for some added security.

When I did the shake test it was without that liner, so I'm not seeing any issue either way with mine.
