Can find cheap pizza any day without the mess of making it at home.
You can make better pizza than any of the retail chains. Once you try it, you won't go back.

Idk, I love making home made pizza and even with a bread maker for the dough and all of the right tools... it's always a big mess in the kitchen to make pizza for 2 people. It's fun for a larger group for sure.

With that said, you can do pretty good with a pizza stone/steel and an oven at 550. I feel like this is a tool that doesn't really justify the cost, at least for a lot of us.

While doing research on pizza ovens, what really surprised me was the large number of people buying it for heating up store bought frozen pizza

You can also find a cheap burger at McDonald's instead of grilling one yourself..

Come on what kind of logic are you using? Waste of a comment.

Agree, I worked at a pizza shop and still make quite a bit of pizza. These are a novelty and may be fun for entertaining outside. Practically though you can get pretty good results in your oven.

I've said it many times before: you want the piezano, its $100 (or less), electric, you can use it indoors or out. These mickey-mouse gas ones are a pain in the butt, plus you can easily store the piezano in your kitchen, basement, garage, whatever.

It cooks it to perfection, and most people I know throw out their outdoor-only pizza ovens after a year of use (unless you're using it for decorum or whatever). Just a heads up, I'm not looking for an argument, I've tried them all & the piezano is it for ease of use, cost to benefit, and it works better.

Also to note for those who don't know: don't make the dough yourself, find a grocery store that sells it for ~$2.50 (for 2 12" pizzas), and you can make dinner for the family + extra for about $10 total with toppings, sauce, cheese, etc.

So you'll have to search for that yourself (Piezano), last time I saw a deal on it, it was $80 from Sams Club, but for this item $100 (Kohls) is pretty good, they've become popular & the prices went from $150 to $120 to $100....and now $80. If you get creative with coupon codes please let the community know about it!

I agree, a stone and an oven would make great pizza, this is what I use now. However, I am curious about the type of oven in the OP and might give one a try soon. The pizza making mess is not a problem for me since the reward is greater. Best!

My son and his wife have this and they love it! And they've been making homemade pizza for a while before they bought it!

Is this just like the big freestanding unit Blackstone used to make? I've had that one for years and it works great. I'm wondering if there's any advantage to this model?
