These work pretty well. I already had 1 leak of a sink drain that I caught early because of this. When water is detected, it screams loudly, plus emails me, plus pushes an alert to the app.

Place these at the base of toilets to get alerted when someone has poor aim.

These or the yolink ones….
Wondering same, seems like people are happy with both. The YoLink function on a different band supposedly, trying to figure out the pros/cons to each.

Do these work with the $30 WiFi valve shut off setups?

Been using these in both our FL & TN homes and they have been very reliable and dependable on multiple occasions. Easy setup and batteries last over a year in spite of being tripped. Note there is a newer version that allows more than 10 which is limit for OP's item. I've been so satisfied with this item I'll be buying another set at this price. Thanks OP

Newer version if you need more than 10:

I've had a similar experience to many others who've shared their reviews—these sensors have been fantastic for detecting two leaks in my home. They potentially saved me from thousands of dollars in damages by alerting me via my phone while I was out running errands. Setting them up is a breeze, especially with the plug-in adapter. You can also use them as standalone sensors, but without the adapter, you won't receive notifications through email, text, or phone when a leak is detected. Additionally, the alarms are extremely loud, ensuring you won't miss any leaks.

Any idea what the difference is with these sensors from the same brand:

The one you linked is a newer model. It has greater range and supports more than 10 units. The one the OP posted is what I have and they gave worked well. So it depends on your use case.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank professorman

These are great. They have alerted me several times:
- Wife overflow kitchen sink twice while she left it running
- Son splash a ton of bathwater outside the bath tub to go all the way under the sink
- Water heater dripping water
- Floor vent floods when it rains heavy (once per year)

I have them in the following locations:
- Under 3 bathroom sinks
- Under kitchen sink
- Under washing machine
- Under water heater
- in 3 floor vents, since I have that weird rain flooding issue

These are great. Easier to use than my older SmartThings leak sensors. These have detection prongs on top and bottom. The bottom even has three detection prongs for more coverage. You can change the audible alert sound on each sensor from high, low, or off. And of course you have all the notification options in the app. App seems good so far. They run on two AAA batteries, but get amazing battery life. They are the easiest smart device I've ever connected to a system. Hold a button of the side of the gateway for two seconds, press button on leak sensor, done. If you're concerned about this company's country of origin, create a guest WiFi network and use that for the gateway connection.
Since you had the smartthings before, can these link to smartthings easily? I have bunch that shut off my water thru my Smartthings hub, but this is a lot less than the Samsung water sensors.
