Having said that, I don't fully know the difference off hand! I think one helps with sweat and one helps with smell.

The concern about aluminium in antiperspirant isn't about cancer. It's that it causes dementia/alzheimers. And causation is still an open question. Research suggests there may be a link between aluminum absorbed in the bloodstream and increased chance of memory disorders.
