Battery life on these is pretty bad, but otherwise a good laptop.
Wait...you're saying your phones processor is faster than a Core Ultra 7 155H?!

It's all depends on the mode. In performance mode, fully agree.

Nah. I have a 9i. It's pretty bad even on "battery saver". All I did was take notes, occasionally coding. My only and biggest complaint with this laptop is the battery life. Now I use it for sheet music but am considering selling it and getting something with better battery life for the same purpose. Love everything else about it, especially the screen.

How long was your battery lasting? I want to know what you consider "bad"? 5 hours might be ok for me but you are looking for 9.

Yah. I own two. One 2.8K, one 4K. It's fine on anything but performance mode vs equivalent machines. (OLED screens look awesome, but pull too many amps) I spend most of my time editing in Lightroom and Photoshop on them. Running the boosted refresh rate on the 2.8k drains even faster.

Comparing them vs. IPS/TN panels is never going to be apples to apples.

For those on the fence, there is no better sound system on a laptop, and it's one of the best screens you'll ever see on one…better than Retina IMO.

Comparisons at the link: The Dell has horrendous capacitive buttons, lousy sound and a worse screen. The rest are pricier with trade-offs in other areas.

You're looking at the wrong model then

These things do a lot right. One thing they are widely known for doing wrong is battery life.

I was actually contemplating upgrading to this from the C940 (open box too before this made SD) but I actually ended up splurging on the Asus Proart (for the dgpu).

I LOVED my C940 and nothing really compared to it for me. I've basically replaced 1/3 of the laptop at this point.

I was getting no more than 5 hours. I had a surface pro that lasted me 8. And i was getting those 5 hours undervolting my lenovo.

5 hours is quite bad in today's time. My phone lasts 3 times longer and has a more powerful processor. 5 hours was pretty bad when I had lecture for 4 hours. If i forgot to charge it before coming to class i was kinda screwed. Depends on your use case. I have a desktop at home for CAD, simulation, coding etc so i hardly use my laptop anymore now that I'm done with school.
