i bought this and it's VERY skin safe on the shaver part (the part with the foil cover). i expected it to nick despite the claims, but it doesn't at all. While shaving, i've seen skin get raised a bit (like getting goosebumps) and instead of cutting through it like other shavers, it just gets stuck a bit and pulls but never cuts.
It is very smooth shaving experience for your body, the only trade-off is that sometimes, it takes multiple times running it over hair for it to cut, especially if the hair is short already, and it feels very weak compared to other shavers, but that makes sense considering it is built for bodygrooming safety and not to be a powerhouse.
Both side also allow you to either lift or remove part of the shaver to either replace it, or empty out hair that gets lodged in while shaving. Makes it super easy to clean, no hassle at all, my only real concern is that you will have to replace the foil shaver part every year or so, i assume because of it getting dull, but this bundle comes with a free replacement head.
TLDR: no cuts, super good body groomer, removable shave parts, easy to clean out hair that sneaks in, chargable, comes with extra foil shaver head and case. worth it.

Also, i don't think it's ever dropped lower than this for bundle or solo shaver.

Imho, the foil part of this is the ultimate manscaping machine. I haven't been able to cut myself with this ANYWHERE. The hair lifter may scratch if handled roughly, but that's all.
To save on the expensive replacement foils, you should first use the trimmer to cut the hair short (where possible!)

I got the package without extra foil and case, for $42.50 on Dec 2022. That is when Philips typically runs their annual Amazon sale

While the foil part is excellent, the trimmer is not as good as the other multigroom models with removable combs. E.g. the 3 setting on this doesn't cut as close, and the stepper is not very smooth. I would consider getting a machine with the foil part like body groomer 3000 separately, and use my multigroom for everywhere else.
The 3000 has an extender handle too, but it's not on sale right now.

I already have this and not too happy with it. The previous generations were better. The foil cover comes off too easily and the trim side is rough on the skin and doesn't give you a close shave. The battery has been okay.

I had this experience too where the battery only lasted a year or two and I only used the trimmer like once or twice a month. It worked well, I would buy a corded version.
