Only if you got a new number (or ported yours out and back in) every three months. This is for new customers only. They don't stack, and they'd probably expire before you could even get through more than a couple of them.

they dont enforce that when buying from 3rd party. Only when purchasing directly from mint can they enforce that since mint doesnt have access to the sellers systems to know the delivery date.

Yep. The "regular" plans (5/15/20GB) allow full use as hotspot. Just remember, Unlimited is Limited. The Unlimited plan is just a 40GB plan with a 10GB hotspot limit.

mint is not good, every time i wanna keep using their service after like "3 months deal", their after trial monthly fee is amazingly, tax and fees r super over charged

They are only good for these 3 month new sim deals. You need to port your real number to google voice, then forward your calls to the fake number you get when you activate this sim card. Rinse wnd repeat and take advantage of these new customer sim deals indefinitely.

You can use your regular dialer which will use the cell minutes or you can use the voice app dialer which will use your data. I use the regular dialer on my Samsung S22 and use the voice app for txt and voicemail. Just set the voice app to always display your google voice number on outgoing calls. It will show your voice number using the regular dialer as well

Regular dialer works on Android but iPhones have different settings and you have to use the GV app to call using GV number. Really wish app worked the same on both.

Just dial your google voice number then dial the person's number -- that will display the gv number.
There's another (quicker) way but it's long too explain and most people can't do it.

I am looking to port out from Vonage to mint mobile and eventually to GV. Did anyone do this? if so, how are you managing international calling other than using whatsapp.

No because this is for best buy and that amex offer requires the purchase be from mint mobile.

Buy 2 of the 3 month unlimited for $45 each...then sell one to a friend or via craigslist etc....(Mint Mobile ones MUST be activated within 45 days from purchase) In most cases Mint WILL refund your money if you find you are not going to be able to activate one....if they sent it as a check it would not conflict with the amex offer.

I just got this information by referring other thread. We can purchase this from best buy and activate number. Once the account is setup on mint, we can add $90 to wallet as existing mint customer using amex card and that qualifies for the $45 offer. Now if you have another card with this offer (I do as my spouse has a separate card as amex authorized user), you can add another $90 separately to the wallet and you get $45 back for that. So in total your wallet will have $180 and you get $45+$45 back. You can recharge the 5gb plan for a year using wallet balance once your initial 3 months are up.

you just open the gv app instead of the dialer app on ios... THEY ARE BOTH APPS. And they can both use the carrier phone not voip, so whats the difference?
