It is $1099 there now. That deal was SUS to begin with and is no longer available.

Dang, no pre-amp outs. I bought the Adorama Pioneer LX-505 deal a couple of weeks back, but that thing is giving me problems! Guessing I'll end up returning.

For preouts AND 11 channel processing (!) check out the

I know these are in different price categories, but I think the RZ50 is worth considering. I had been running a Costco Special Denon for the last few years and wanted to add more channels, but didn't want to pay > 500 just to add two more channels. The RZ50's 11 channel processing and amp preouts gives enough flexibility that it might be an endgame amp. It also has Direct Live, no fee, which people say is grrrreat.

I had been hesitating hard on getting an amp because of the pricing for these higher end amps, but if you can get one for 900 or less, I'd say its a no-brainer.

Also check out the Andrew Robinson review for more deets. He really seems to like it was was comparing it to Nortel and NAD; both of which I consider too rich for my blood.

Does anyone know if Acoustic Sound Design is a Denon authorized dealer? I've read reviews on the Amazon page where the receiver required service and Denon refused as it was bought through an unauthorized retailer on Amazon. Unfortunately, they don't mention the name.

Yes, they are authorized for Denon, Onkyo, Klipsch...

Search "Las Vegas" on any of the brands' "authorized dealers" pages and they come up.

Thanks. That 1K is a big jump price wise from the 650 I paid for the pioneer though. Hopefully a better deal comes along.
