I've had this for two weeks now. I paid $230 for it, and I thought it was worth it. I'm buying this at $136 and processing a return, because Amazon doesn't price match.

I was tired of using a swiffer style wet mop and an older robovac that never mopped the floor that well. I admit that I was on the fence for a while. I had to use it a few times before I started to like it. If your floors are already dirty, you'll have to run it a few times to get the layers of dirt off. Sometimes multiple passes were needed to remove solution from the floor.

There an extended cleanup process that you must follow every time you use it or else it will develop mold and it'll be very stinky. Just running the cleaning mode is definitely not enough. I'm OK with how long it takes because it cleans quite well. I think I could only afford to use this once in two weeks or once a month because of the cleanup process.

Just to give you an idea, I'll describe the cleanup process. After you finish mopping, empty the dirty water tank and then reinstall it, make sure there's enough solution, then run the self clean function. Take out the dirty tank again, disassemble it, and clean each of the three parts. Take out the brush and the brush cover and clean them. Wipe down the inside, where the brush sits. Take out the solution tank, empty it out. Wait till all parts are dry to reinstall them.

This vacuum is not useful for cleaning up small messes, I would only use it if I had an hour to clean the floor. I would only use this as a secondary deep cleaning option, the primary being a Robo back that cleans daily.

I was confused when loud suction noise would start while I was in the middle of vacuuming. It means that the dirty water tank needs to be emptied, even though the full line is not reached.

One complaint that I have is that you have to hold the button down to release solution, the newer versions have this all automated, so you just turn it on and move the vacuum back-and-forth. The fact that it is corded is annoying because you have to re-plug it in wherever you're going to use it, but it doesn't bother me because I know I won't have to worry about the battery getting old and not being able to charge.

The vacuum only comes with enough formula to run two solution tanks, so you need to buy some more formula right away if you plan on using it regularly. The solution is a little pricey, there are some people that use vinegar instead of solution, but I just buy the Bissell formula.

I'd advise everyone to avoid the crosswave and just get a swiffer mop equivalent and one of the newer style tube vacs. This sounds great in theory but if you read the manual they expect you to thoroughly take it apart and clean it after every use, which is extremely impractical. I loved it at first but then realized how much I'd have to clean it to keep it from getting super gross

Pretty good price for new. Lots of Amazon warehouse items too at decent price.

I went with refurbished via eBay a while ago

This is solid advice if the device is used like they show in the promotional material.
However, if it's only used for consistent, light floor maintenance it can be very good. Anything more than that and it becomes a nightmare to clean.

I do not own this and have never read the manual, but it does have a cleaning mode on the charging base. It does require dumping and cleaning the tank at a minimum. I advise to go watch the video on the product by Just a Dad (featured video) before deciding.

The cleaning mode does clean it, but does so in a way that it's soggy cloth rather than some rubber or bamboo combination, and it ends up smelling bad and not drying all of the way if you use it regularly. They advise you to remove the roller and hang it up to air out. Vacuuming shouldn't be some continuing maintenance thing where more time is spent on the maintenance of the vacuum

These are good in theory but are a lot of maintenance. If you're fine with that this is a good price. Just be sure to empty the dirty water tank and hang up that brush after each use! Those things get super nasty stinky. I recommend getting the cheap replacement brushes and filters on Amazon too. I've got 6 or 7 of them we cycle through.

Some reviews mention the cord as an issue, but the cordless ones don't have as much suction and brush power.

Like others have said, this requires a lot of maintenance when it comes to cleaning it. In theory it looked nice on videos and reviews but my wife hates it. I am the only one who uses this and you need to have time to do multiple passes on something to get it cleaned. It does clean your floors but you can't be in a rush.

I absolutely love mine. I have an 18 year old dog that really doesnt care about holding it to go outside anymore and this makes cleanup a breeze. I dont use it for general vacuuming really just puddle duty. I deep clean it once a week and have 3 or 4 rollers that I just cycle through. I've found that a solution of 5 to 1 water/bleach works really well instead of their cleaner and I don't get the funky smell that I got with their cleaning solution.

Used mine once. After realizing how long it took to clean, never used it again. Another waste of money.

I don't have a link to any deals but if you want to setup a deal alert, I got my Samsung jet 75 from here for dirt cheap and it's the vest vacuum I've ever had.
