Isn't a refurbished 4080 super going for about 999?

the 4080 super itself is worth at least $1k. This is a pretty decent deal

Is this a better deal, than this previous one, posted a week ago approximately? https://dealquestnow.online/f/18416026-hp-omen-16l-gaming-desktop-pc-i5-14400f-rtx-5060-ti-16gb-16-gb-ddr5-1tb-ssd-1003-99

Yes it is. That 5060ti PC is bad. Only suitable for 1080p gaming. For 1080p you'd be better off buying a used $100 PC and slapping a 3060ti, 4060ti, 3070, or 4070 in it for a total of $500 spent. You'd get the same performance.

This 5080 deal is about 2x as fast for only 40% more money.

That's kind of a weird combo but good gpu. I won't buy an HP gaming machine. Just say no to proprietary parts.
