Bought the "lightning deal"on this yesterday for $1799. Feels like false advertising for them to drop the price another $200 today for a non-lightning deal. Amazon will do nothing to make it right, so I'll be rebuying at this price and returning one, I'm sure costing them more in shipping then just crediting back the price difference.

yeah it is frustrating.

fyi - i think lowest price on this was like 7 months ago at $1399 - so if you want to wait - not sure when that will come around but is suspect this may go lower in the next 3-4 months if you want to wait

It appears that the price has been adjusted to $1629. Are there any available coupons or offers that could reduce the price to $1599?

costco did the same thing to me. return policy for monitor was about 30-60 days, price adjustment period was a couple weeks, I believe? worker there encouraged me to return and rebuy. WTF? what's up with all this inefficiency?

Bad price. The 3800 is nearly identical and can be had for much cheaper.

It was $1299 from Adorama. Denon has high markup on their receiver prices.
