I got the L10s Ultra renewed from ebay for $400 and have been wondering the same thing.
Here's what I found that matters to me:

L10s has 2 year warranty from Allstate vs. 1 year warranty from manufacturer. People complain about manufacturer customer support. You can get a 2 year warranty from Assurion for $60.
L10s cost $400 vs $630 (or $690 with equivalent warranty).

Here's what I found that doesn't matter to me (YMMV):

L20 (Ultra) has 7,000 vs 5,300 Pa of suction. 5,300 Pa is fine on our rugs and carpets, but they're not super plush. We're also upgrading from 1500-1800 Pa (Ozmo T8, Roomba i7), so 5,300 is huge.
L20 has lights on the front for better object detection in the dark. We run ours during the day, so it doesn't matter. If we need to run it at night, I will turn on lights or stick an LED strip on it.
L20 can extend mops to edge. We have mostly hard floors. I don't notice dirt that needs to be mopped in the edges. This is also something that people complain about breaking.
L20 can drop off and pick up mops at base. This sounds cool but I don't see the point when it can just lift the mop instead. Seems like one more thing that can break, and people complain that it does.
L20 has slightly better battery life, dust bin size, mop height, sound level. But it's all insignificantly small amounts.

At the moment I'm keeping the L10s Ultra. Hopefully this helps someone. I'm curious to hear if there's anything I've missed.
Eufy X10 haas 8,000 Pa of suction power compared to L20's 7,000. Dreame can automatically drop off the mop pads at the base while X10 is only manual. Both can raise the pads and only L20 has extendable pads while X10's software compensates for by getting closer to edges. Eufy will take pics of obstacles and send them to the app. L20's base is larger, which can hold more water but takes up more space. Eufy is available on their website with replacement kit for $606 with 10% back via popular site.

I bought this model and a Roborock q revo pro to test while both were on sale and about the same price. Dreame destroys it, battery life, less cleaning the mop pads, much quieter, and worlds better at navigating. I have zero problems with either companies apps.

This dreame L20 blows the x10 out of the water! I had tbe x10 and returned it. Total crap. The L20 is a phenomenal robot cleaner.
I can find 0 evidence that Eufy X10 is total crap. 0. In fact overall considered one of the best you can buy.

Interesting. I almost bought the Qrevo pro, but the abysmal object avoidance really kept me away. From videos, it didn't even try to avoid the items and just trucked right over them. The q revo had most other things I wanted though, and I like my old roborock I have now. They used to have great value, but you can pick one up inside my local Target now, so it seems they have lost their value aspect and went big name.

Yea the revo pro didn't mop as well as this dreame does. The revo kept getting stuck on rugs, I didn't think obstacle avoidance was something I needed as we pick up stuff off the floor before running a cycle, but it sure it a nice feature. Even the camera to log into is awesome

Also the L10s Ultra is supported under Valetudo currently. That made the decision easier for me:

My S8 Pro does a good job of avoiding most everyday clutter. It's when cats drag small things under the sofa that it tries to vacuum it up and it gets stuck. Sometimes it's just twist ties and yarn though, so I don't expect it to handle that hazard at all. The cats know what they're doing.

same thing here. I bought Revo with student discount but eventually decided to keep L20 regardless of his 100 dollars more

I have the same issue with these units. Seems like you will have a high cost of ownership over time
absolutely not , I've had it for years now, we have not mopped our floors in a long time! what issues are you having?

Before you buy know that the software on these things suck and the support is bad vs Roborock
False info... Have you actually use the unit? I've used it for 1 year and have absolutely no issue with the software... Actually it's one of the best software I've used for a robot vacuum

I meant having to buy bags and specific detergent etc. seems to increase the cost of ownership. I have heard that you only have to buy the bags for the specific brand that you own so over time you are locked into whatever price they choose to sell their bags. I understand it's the price you pay for convenience but I wonder how much you have to pay over a year just for the bags and other parts

nope, the AI recognition is garbage. My friend has the unit and it constantly thinks everything is a power cord leaving 20% of his room unvacuumed.

With that being said for this price I don't think it's that bad but I would still rather go roborock

I picked up the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 OMNI from the Walmart $330 deal last week. Anyone have any real world experience between the two? Is it worth almost double the price for the L20?

i actually own the robot and it cleans my whole house 100% AND always avoid cords (unless its dark since my unit doesn't have a LED light)
your friend either has a broken machine, using the wrong app (there are 2 apps for this vac, i use dreame own app), or he is lying to you.
