Buy an EZ-DUZ-IT [amazon.com] and have a can opener for life that is made in America. After years of my wife buying pretty can openers that quickly went dull or just broke I bought one and could not be happier after many years of ownership.

Avoid this opener. Kitchen aid licensed their name to a mediocre product. Buy the oxo one instead

It has great reviews. I was about to buy another Kitchen Aid, since my wife is complaining about our current one. May give this a try instead. She opens 95% of the cans, so I want to keep her happy!

Don't. It rusts so easily. Makes you wonder if it was truly made in USA or just trying to inflate the price.

I have both of these exact can openers. My EZ DUZ IT is very rusty and about 10 years old.
The KitchenAid is about 6 months old and has not a spec of rust yet but only time will tell.
Both work well at what they do but the rust is definitely telling me it may be time to replace it

I also bought this a while ago and it's a cheap piece of garbage. Rusted, not nice to use and so on.

I also second the zyliss, it's really nice, doesn't rust and has a few features that are good to have. It locks and has a magnet on the tip to pick the lid up if you cut the lid all the way through.
