Got it, returning it. Doesn't support HDMI fiber optic cable, FFS. Would it have killed UGREEN to put this somewhere, ANYWHERE in the description? I read the entire thing and the reviews and no one said anything :[

That one does not work with Fiber Optic HDMI cables either, FYI.

Lmk what "inexpensive" switch works for you. I need it to switch a Roku directly to TV and AV receiver since my TV ARC does not return signals that well and is glitchy.

I couldn't find an inexpensive switch so I ended up going to HDMI > Displayport active adapter route ($15). If I use that adapter, it will free up my HDMI on my computer so I don't need to switch at all.

In the listing it does say "Note: please use standard HDMI 2.0 Cable".

I wouldn't classify niche fiber optic cables as standard cables and I'm surprised that you did. Standard cables can carry current which is needed to power this switch whereas a niche fiber optic cable cannot.

I would like to think of myself as an avid consumer. That said, I have no idea what a "standard HDMI" cable is. They should be specific and say "Works ONLY with Copper HDMI cables. NOT COMPATIBLE with HDMI Fiber Optic Cables!" I wouldn't have bought it in that case.
