Sounds quality is obviously lower than "pro" model buds/pods, but they're still good quality paired with the ability to clearly hear your surroundings or nearby people while these are on is worth the trade-off.
I don't run, but can presume these provide runners a significant safety feature and great comfort for longer runs.
But EVERY PAIR of these I've had has failed within a year to 18 months. All failed the same way with an internal speaker coming loose and creating a buzzing/ringing sound.
I use them for running, so am assuming it's associated with the repetitive impact associated with that. But my wife uses for walking, and they failed the same way.
So, with a 2yr. warranty you can expect to get 2-3yrs total from the original and replacement pair, so not a bad deal I suppose for $99.
Still, over the last 4 yrs or so since bought a pair each for my wife and I, you'd think they would fix what appears to be an obvious design flaw, as all four pairs, (the original and replacements) have failed.

I think this is a great deal if you are very active and don't plan on soaking them but if you want something similar for working or dog walking I highly suggest you look at air conduction which I've found to be much cheaper, much better sounding, but less durable.
