We can get a 10% Off coupon from Alienware Arena, that will reduce the price to 899 before taxes. I just ordered with this and this should be applicable for all US orders

None of that is relevant to whether this is a deal or not. A better price will always arrive down the road when it comes to tech. By then there will be something newer/better/faster/whatever.
Then don't buy it right now. Not sure why you're threadcrapping and spamming this thread nonstop with your negativity.

I did not have an argument between CTRFK8 and KDKPSJ on my calendar today.

Somehow, the mouse trick gave me a bigger discount. This does not stack with the mouse trick.

The discount on the monitor is the same either way(10% off). But if you use the coupon code you don't have to buy the $30 mouse.

If the mouse is in the cart, it shows a higher savings because the mouse was originally priced at $70. So it might say an extra $43 in savings.

The mouse was technically free somehow, it showed $43 discount plus the extra $100 off the monitor. I mean in the end it was negliable. With the mouse it was like $3 less.

I bought this a couple of months ago at full price (~$1K with CB) and absolutely love this. Was coming from a 5 year old 120Hz IPS Alienware 1440p ultrawide. And this is vastly superior in almost every way. Paired with a 4090 and 7900x. So far, I have played Senua Hellblade 2 (~120 fps at max settings) and Dead Space remake (~220 fps at max) and these are just so immersive. The blacks are of course sublime but it's also great at handling dark to bright transitions. Was worried about productivity and while text clarity is not as good as IPS, it's close enough that I don't notice working 8+ hours in web browsing, VS Code, Excel etc. Was also worried about the micro scratches early buyers were complaining about but it came wrapped in a protective covering and had zero scratches. I have the monitor auto shut off with 1 min of inactivity to protect against burn in. The pixel refresh happens once every 4 hours or so. You can dismiss it if you are in the midst of working but it's not super annoying to wait for a few minutes to get that extra burn in protection. I use it primarily for productivity (80%) and some gaming (20%). It's possibly the best gaming monitor on the market right now and it's good enough for text clarity to make it work for productivity. Best monitor I've ever owned. This is a great deal but I don't regret paying an extra $200 for 2 months of use.

Thank you for your review. I just purchased this monitor to upgrade from a ~6 year old 120Hz VA 1440p ultrawide so glad to know it's a great upgrade. I also WFH on my computer.

How does this compare to the 34" AW3423DWF models? Is the upgrade to 4K worth it or should I stick with ultrawide?

It wasn't free, it's listed separately on your order history.
It was $70 orig, $40 discount, 10% off of $30(aka $3) which leaves $27 plus tax.
It is a negligible amount considering the rest of the cost. But I did cancel my initial order to use the coupon code instead.

I had this monitor when it first came out and it really is awesome. I am waiting for the Gigabyte DP 2.1 version of this to come to Best Buy, but this was a close second. I had to return mine due to screen scratches, but they supposedly put a removable film on them now, so no more scratches.

I also am on an AW 34" UW 120Hz and this 32" 4k really blew me away. Honestly, non UW is so much better for gaming if you play a lot of random games since many still don't support UW. Just my opinion, but I prefer 32" 4k! This is a great deal for one of the best monitors. The subtle curve is also fantastic IMO.

Hey you were absolutely right and I had my numbers wrong. I chatted with Dell and asked if I could cancel my order and instead they said keep the mouse and they'll refund me the $27 plus tax instead.

Do a chat with bestbuy. They're not too bad when it comes to price matching a recent purchase.
